“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever, Amen.” (Ephesians 3.20-21)
Do we believe this?
Or do we hope it’s true.
… that God is able.
Sometimes we do a whole lot more thinking—than thinking to ask God.
Have you ever said, Why didn’t I think to pray before now?
Remembering to pray takes practice. Even thinking to ask God to help us to remember to pray, takes practice. Thankfully, God prompts us even when we don’t ask. He wants conversation. Talking and listening. Prayer.
Conversation sparks engagement.
Engaging with God leads to a shared experience.
Shared experiences display God’s character.
The more we pray and engage and share experiences and witness God’s character ….. we know God better. Our belief builds.
We trust who He is and all that He can do…far more abundantly than all that we ask or think.
Dear Lord,
We want to believe You. Help us engage with You more. In this week, please show us the next step we need to take toward You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
