“Wow, God blessed us as we shopped today! Thank you, God.”
“God made every star that you see.”
“I want you to have a friend, too. God wants us to talk to Him about that. He gives us our friends. And He helps us feel better while we wait.”
“And she did not know that it was I who gave her the grain, the wine, the oil and who lavished on her silver and gold…” (Hosea 2.8a)
Getting to know God, we realize the Source of all that is good in life.
Opportunity to know Him abounds.
What He has done and is doing surrounds us.
Looking for God in the ordinary, we experience Him. Active. Alive.
In our life. Over our living.
We see. All that we take for granted. All that we’ve never considered.
Looking, we see what’s been hidden in plain view. He helps us see.
The more we see, our heart swells with awe. In a moment, one with the One.
Abiding.
Each abiding moment attaches to the last.
Sown and grown, by God.
“And I will betroth you to me forever. I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy. I will betroth you to me in faithfulness. And you shall know the LORD.” (Hosea 2.19-20)
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord. Open the eyes of my heart. I want to see You.
